CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Corpus Christi police are looking for a tractor-trailer that snagged some wires at a busy intersection.

The incident was reported around 9:45 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Gollihar Road and Ayers Street.

According to Corpus Christi Senior Officer Victor Casares, said a large truck with a trailer pulling a barn. The barn was too high, and it hit the wires.

The barn took out the power pole.

"Because of the wires out on the road, medics got here first and wanted to make sure they were not live wires. But once they determined it was not live wires, they moved the wires off of the roadway and cleared the road," Casares said.

AEP crews were called out to fix its lines.

Investigators say they are going to review surveillance cameras to determine the trailer that caused damage.

"Anytime you have a load, you have to know your heights and distances," Casares said. "Especially going on the freeways, under intersections."
