CORPUS CHRISTI. TEXAS — The Texas State Aquarium says they will be opening in the next 24 hours.
They are expected to open the facility on North Beach Tuesday, July 28, 2020. The Texas State Aquarium will be open from 10:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.
The animal care teams report the animals are all safe and doing well after Hurricane Hanna.
A news statement read, "Due to the hard work and dedication of our aquarium staff we have made significant progress on the grounds clean- up efforts. Today, the staff will continue the clean-up and make necessary repairs in order to reopen. "
