CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A teenager is behind bars after allegedly robbing a convenience store.
Just before 5 a.m. Monday, Corpus Christi police responded to the Stripes at the intersection of Port and Tarlton, in reference to a report of an aggravated robbery with a weapon.
Police say the suspect pulled a gun on the store clerk.
He got away with an undisclosed amount of money and some cigarettes before fleeing on a bicycle.
Officers found the teen just a few blocks away on Greenwood Drive, just past Horne Road a short time later, and was taken into custody without incident.
No one was injured.
