Did you get a chance to catch our Mike Gillaspia and Maclovio Perez out at Brewster Street Icehouse downtown last night?
If not, here's a bit of what you missed:
Well, Mac gets points for style, anyway. And for HELP-ing out a good cause on his birthday.
Maclovio and Mike were on-hand for the Hammons Employment Leadership Program's 10th Annual HELP Hits the High Notes fundraiser.
Since opening its doors in 2008, HELP has taken more than 4,500 kids to tour more than 100 work sites, and to find jobs.
Mac donned his best early-'80s Kevin Bacon-esque threads to perform the "Footloose" titular song, co-written and originally performed by Kenny Loggins, while Mike took on a 1980s country music staple, performing Randy Travis' "Forever and Ever, Amen."
If you hadn't guessed, the theme was The '80s.
