CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Corpus Christi Independent School Superintendent Dr Roland Hernandez gave a progress report on the district today as part of the state of the CCISD luncheon.
"Over the past three years we continue to see good improvements in our academics," Hernandez said. "We certainly highlight all the new facilities we put into place in the last several years. beautiful schools across the city that have just changed the landscape of Corpus Christi."
The event was held at the American Bank Center this afternoon, Oct 30. Among the highlights of the event were the hearts and minds showcase which featured projects by students and educators from the district's 22 campuses.
The luncheon raised $99,000 that will go back to the district.
