CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Pharaoh Valley lawsuit has been settled meaning Barisi Village will move ahead as planned.

In August, the Texas 13th Court of Appeals ruled for Pharaoh Valley resident in favor of building a Italian style residential development on the old Pharaoh Valley golf course.

Crews started work in November and construction is slated to start early next year.

In a statement, developer Jeff Blackard called today a great day for Corpus Christi and praised residents for their patience.

The terms of the settlement were not released.
