CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS — A local non-profit organization discovered their food trucks were burglarized.
The Salvation Army staff say they found their property had been broken into at their location in the 5000 block of S.P.I.D.
Both delivery and food trucks had been burglarized. Staff workers told police they are not sure when the burglary occurred and are reviewing subservience video.
“We were scheduled to make Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) deliveries this entire week. Our staff has taken on the responsibility of delivering these much-needed supplies to hospitals and surrounding areas, said Captain Patrick Gesner, Commanding Officer for The Salvation Army of the Coastal Bend.
"We were looking forward to making these deliveries, but now we must make other arrangements. It is sad and a shame that someone would do this, especially during these difficult times, " Captain Gesner continued.
