ROBSTOWN, Texas — UPDATE (4:45 p.m. Friday): Robstown Police Chief Enrique Paredez said that the Nueces County Medical Examiner's Office still has not determined the cause of death of a woman found along Hwy. 44 near County Road 67 in Robstown, and said toxicology results still are pending.
However, he also said the medical examiner's office does not believe foul play was involved.
The woman's identity also has not been determined. Paredez said she will need to be identified using her fingerprints.

The Robstown police chief has confirmed a body has been found in Robstown off State Hwy. 44.
Witnesses at the scene report that the U.S. Border Patrol arrived to assist at the crime scene.
The body was later identified as a female, and the investigation upgraded to a homicide investigation.
Customs and Border Protection Agents are helping with the investigation.
When asked if the body belonged to an undocumented immigrant, Robstown Chief of Police Enrique Paredez said, "Not certain yet. Very possible."
