ROBSTOWN, Texas — After two years, the Robstown ISD has found what has been causing a foul odor at an elementary school.
Students at Robert Driscoll Elementary have been complaining about the unpleasant smell for awhile.
The odor began two years ago. So, the school installed charcoal filters in the vents. The smell returned again in October.
Robstown ISD parents and staff members described the smell as rotten eggs. One kindergartner said: "It smells like poo-poo."
According to Kelsey Cook, Robstown ISD's director of public relations, a crew found a crack in an exhaust vent pipe.
That crew is repairing the pipe and hope to have it fixed by early next week.
