Rescue crews looking for help after puppy gets injured

ROBSTOWN, TEXAS — Rescue crews with the Robstown EMS are looking for help after a some puppies they were taking care of got into a fight with another dog.

City of Robstown Emergency Medical Services posted several photos on their Facebook account following the incident Wednesday night.

The post read they head a commotion outside of their station located at 518 E Avenue B. in Robstown, Texas. When they went to investigate the noise, they said they saw a bigger pit bull mix dog latched on to one of the smaller dogs.

It took rescue crews about 35-40 minutes to get them separated with the help from the Robstown Fire Department.

The post read, "The little puppy doesn't appear to be as injured as the bigger dog and ran off. The bigger dog appears to be a mix of Pit-bull and something else and is severely injured and was taken by Animal Control."
