CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A lifestyle website has some harsh news for the residents living in Texas.
According to Best Life, Texas was named one of the "most hated" states in the United States. New Jersey took the number one spot according to the study.
Texas finished second on the list of the most hated states in America.
The authors of the study state, "We analyzed a Gallup poll of which citizens felt the most pride in their home states—defined as the percentage of people who agreed with the statement that their state is "the best or one of the best possible states to live."
The authors of the study then compared results to an Instagram researchers findings.
The states that hated Texas were Alaska, California, New Mexico and Oklahoma.
