CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Premont community got a first hand look at a new school that opened Sunday.
The Ernest H. Singleton Early College Academy opened Jan. 12.
Teachers showed off their new classrooms as they get ready for their first day on Jan. 13.
This is the first new campus to open there since 1971.
About 350 students will go there.
Voters approved the money to build the school in a bond three years ago.
It took two years to build it.
