Portland police looking for suspect in Monday's IBC Bank robbery

The IBC Bank in Portland was robbed Monday afternoon.

Portland police said a man walked into the bank and demanded money, and when the clerk handed over a bag of cash, and the man took off.

Police were able to identify the vehicle the suspect was in and found it parked at a property in the 1500 block of Morgan Lane in Ingleside.

Police said they secured a search warrant and managed to recovered some of the stolen money and other evidence.

The suspect, identified as 31-year-old Nicholas Waller, was not found. Waller is 6 feet tall, 140 lbs., and has brown hair and green eyes.

Police said he has previous weapons charges.

If captured, police said Waller will be charged with robbery.
