According to the Kleberg County Sheriff's Office, a precautionary water boil advisory has been issued for part of Kleberg County.
The water boil applies to Ricardo area residents who are served by Ricardo Water Supply. At this time, the city of Kingsville is not under the notice. The city says their water wells are operational, and if you do not have running water, you likely have frozen pipes and will have to call a plumber. The water boil in the Ricardo area will be in effect until further notice.
They sheriff's office says residents should utilize water bottles, and any tap water you use for drinking or cooking should be brought to a boil for three minutes.
