ALICE, Texas — Area lawmen were kept busy on a hot Saturday afternoon as they responded to a large structure fire on County Road 122 near Alice.
According to the Jim Wells County Sheriff's Office Facebook post, Jim Wells deputies, the Alice Fire Department and Texas Department of Public Safety troopers responded to the fire Saturday afternoon.
No one was at home when the fire took place.
Jim Wells deputies said the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
