BISHOP, Texas — Ground was broken Thursday for the latest splash pad in Nueces County. This one will go up at the Amistad Veterans Memorial Park in Bishop.
The splash pad will be 2,500 square feet and will include a spray deck and 37 different water features among other amenities.
Construction on the splash pad will get underway shortly, and it's expected to be ready by this summer.
