Corpus Christi Police is preparing to shut down South Padre Island Drive to clear a multi-vehicle accident.
According to Corpus Christi Police Department's Public Information Officer Jennifer Collier, at least nine vehicles are believed to be involved on westbound S.P.I.D. and Kostoryz Road.
Several emergency vehicles are en route.
