UPDATE: 8/8, 8:39 P.M. -

The Nueces County Sheriff's Office has confirmed that the body found in the truck off of FM 2444 was Phillip Loveday.

Officials did not give any indication on how they found Loveday and his truck but it was a Kleberg County Deputy that found the truck while working with the Texas Rangers.

Deputy Chief of Operations David Cook told KRIS 6 News that there were no signs of foul play and that no resources were spared in the search for Loveday.

“There have been many, many law enforcement agencies that have come into play," Cook said. "All the adjoining counties have been involved in looking for him. Some of the federal agencies have been involved looking for him. They’ve scoured LPR license plate readers to determine if his vehicle had been seen anywhere.”
