Armed robbers have struck again on the city's south side.

Corpus Christi Police Department Ofc. Robert Garcia said around 6:30 p.m., three men with hammers walked into the EZ Pawn on Weber and Holly Road.

They smashed several display cases and got away with a few items.

A few customers were in the store but were not injured. Garcia said the CCPD has reviewed the store's surveillance video.

"We were able to get a decent view of the suspects," he said.

This is the third robbery in the area in the last seven days.

On Feb. 13, a man robbed the Dollar General on the 6000 block of Weber Road. Police said he showed the clerk, who was closing the store, a gun and took money from the register before running away from the store.

The following day, someone robbed the Metro PCS store on Weber Road near Holly Road. Police say the man walked in and pointed a gun at an employee. Then, he made off with cash and some jewelry.

Police are looking into whether the men who robbed EZ Pawn were also involved in these two other incidents.
