CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A man who had just dropped off his child at Driscoll Middle School was stabbed and robbed this morning.
It happened around 8:30 a.m. on Naylor and Driscoll.
Police say the man dropped his daughter off at Driscoll and was walking home when four Hispanic men jumped him.
One man was armed with a knife and another with a machete.
The victim was stabbed in the back and was cut on the head with the machete.
The attackers also took his cell phone.
The victim made it to his home a few blocks away and called police.
