ODEM, Texas — Evidence has confirmed that a 68-year-old man found dead on his farm near Odem was killed by his own tractor.
San Patricio County Sheriff Oscar Rivera says they found the man's body in the middle of a field late last month.
He’d been using a tractor to load hay onto a trailer.
That’s when Rivera says the tractor had mechanical issues. They found the tractor's ignition on and the gear in reverse.
Rivera says the tractor ran over the man, killing him.
