CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Nathanial Salinas is due in federal court this afternoon where he'll make his first appearance on charges related to school threats he's accused of making.
The 19-year-old is accused posting a threat on Facebook on Oct. 9 to shoot people at Grant Middle School.
The threat led to increased security at the school the following day.
Salinas was arrested that same day.
He now faces up to five years in federal prison if he's found guilty.
