The man accused of shooting and killing two men in a home on the city's west side appeared before a judge this morning.
Twenty-seven year-old Jose Luis Ramirez appeared before Judge Melissa Madrigal in magistrate court.
Judge Madrigal told Ramirez has been charged with capital murder of multiple persons and his bond was set at $1 million.
Ramirez told the judge he would hire his own attorney.
Police believe Ramirez shot and killed 26-year-old Daniel Garza and 25-year old George Soto at a home on the 1200 block of Elgin Street on Thursday.
U.S. marshalls arrested Ramirez the following day on unrelated warrants. Yesterday, he was charged with capital murder of multiple persons.
