CALDWELL, Texas — We now know the name of a local man who was injured in the oil well explosion earlier this week.
The San Diego Vaquero football alumni Facebook page posted this picture of Brian Maldonado, with the message "Please pray for Brian."
As we reported, one contractor died and three others were transported by helicopters to hospitals in Houston and Austin after an oil well exploded near Caldwell.
First responders from all over the Brazos Valley responded to the site of the explosion.
It's still unclear what caused the deadly blowout at this time.
