CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS — The first Kemp's ridley sea turtle nest of the season was found over the weekend.
It was found on Saturday at the Padre Island National Seashore.
Park Rangers say it's about ten days earlier than last year.
If you find a nesting Kemp's ridley turtle, officials say to stand back and leave the nest undisturbed and immediately notify officials by calling 1-866-turtle-5.
