CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A distressed kayaker was rescued near Corpus Christi Bay.
According to Nueces County ESD #2, around 12:35 p.m. the boater was reportedly in distress at 13000 S.P.I.D..
At 1:15 p.m., crews made phone contact with the individual in distress, and within ten minutes they located the man and brought him to shore safely.
