A kayaker had to be rescued after he he fell into Corpus Christi Bay this morning.
Someone called 911 after they spotted the man struggling near the breakwater off the Lawrence Street T-head around 10 a.m.
Marina patrol found the man and pulled him from the water.
He was treated at the scene.
A witness said the man wasn't wearing a life jacket.
