Judge Medary appointed to state-wide Judicial Council

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — 347th District Judge Missy Medary will now have a big say on how courts around the State are run.

She has been appointed to the Texas Judicial Council by Texas Supreme Court Chief Justice Nathan Hecht.

The Texas Judicial Council continuously studies and reports on the organization and practices of the Texas Judicial Branch.

The council studies methods to simplify judicial procedures, expedite court business, and better administer justice. Judge Medary's term on the council will run until February of 2025.

She will continue to preside over the 347th District.
