CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Former Corpus Christi doctor Jaime Sandoval appeared in court this morning, just over a week after he was captured in Panama.

In today’s hearing, the judge informed Sandoval probation for intoxication assault with a motor vehicle would be revoked, and that he would be held without bond.

Sandoval arrived at the Nueces County Jail early Friday after being transferred from a Miami jail, where he’s been housed since Aug. 1.

Sandoval had been on the run since late June after removing his ankle monitor. He was on probation for that intoxication assault charge related to a road-rage incident nearly two years ago.

You'll recall the former doctor pled guilty earlier this year to a 2017 groping charge. He now faces new accusations of improper behavior with a former patient.
