High winds knock city traffic signals to the ground

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Sunday's windy conditions took their toll on a traffic signal at the corner of S Alameda and Everhart Rd.

The signals fell into traffic striking two cars. The vehicles involved each had one passenger. No injuries were reported.

The intersection now has stop signs temporarily

Police are asking drivers to use caution.
