CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Health care in Nueces County is going mobile.
It's all thanks to a health clinic on wheels that was rolled out today at the city/county health department.
The mobile clinic will be used to provide health care and medical services to underserved residents in rural areas of Nueces County.
“We're happy to be partnering with this, mobile unit to be able to serve the outlying areas like Banquete and the Colonias,” said Gabe Rivas of the Amistad Family Clinic. “The areas that are not being served.”
The mobile medical unit will be making its first stop in Robstown from March 23-28.
It will be set up at the Calderon County building.
