A Hamlin Middle School teacher has been arrested, accused of sexually assaulting a child.

CCISD police say they issued a warrant for 47-year-old Anthony Quintanilla's arrest.

According to Nueces County jail officials, Quintanilla surrendered Wednesday afternoon before a warrant could be served.

Quintantilla is accused of sexual assault of a child and improper relationship between an educator and student. His bond has been set at $300,000.
