Corpus Christi Police Department is investigating an overnight bar shooting.
Police said it happened after a fight at Politics Spirits and Games on Staples St. around 1 a.m. Tuesday.
According to Senior Officer Gena Pena, witnesses told police a 33-year-old man initiated the fight.
Surveillance video also showed the man being aggressive at the scene prior to the shooting.
Police said a 29-year-old man shot at the 33-year-old.
The shooting victim was taken to the hospital and was uncooperative with police.
At this time, the 29-year-old has not been charged or taken into custody.
Police are still collecting more information to determine what happened and are not looking for anyone else in connection with the shooting.
The shooting victim is expected to survive. No other injuries were reported.
