CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Water's Edge Park was dedicated less than two years ago.
And today, a good-sized chunk of it is closing for repairs.
The playground at the park will close so that crews can install a new playground surface.
The work will take a couple of months. The playground isn’t expected to reopen until the second week of March.
All of the park's other attractions will remain open -- including the basketball courts and the dog parks.
