CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Corpus Christi firefighters quickly responded to a brush fire on the city's southside on Sunday afternoon.
Just before 5:00 p.m., firefighters responded to a brush fire on an open field on Saratoga Blvd., across the street from Icon Apartments.
When emergency crews arrived at the scene, they said the fire was conquered in less than five minutes. The fire crews believe this was a result of a homeless camp found in that field.
