CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A North Beach hotel was the scene of a fire this morning.
Fire crews were called to the Knights Inn in the 3600 block of Timon Blvd just before 10 a.m. for a fire in one of the rooms.
The fire was quickly extinguished, but flames did cause heavy damage to one room on the second floor.
They were able to keep the fire from spreading to other rooms, but the flames did cause heavy damage to that one unit.
It is not known how the blaze started.
