CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — New developments have emerged in the murder case of a Calallen High School student.
According to court documents, the suspect, 20-year-old Billy Ferguson was indicted yesterday.
He's charged with murder on Aug. 23. Police say Ferguson stabbed 17-year old Calallen High School senior Gabriel Cooley to death inside the Calallen Walmart store.
According to an arrest report - Ferguson told police he randomly selected Cooley and stabbed him.
Ferguson remains in the Nueces County Jail in lieu of $1 million in bonds.
