A man reportedly DWI was involved in a fatal single-vehicle crash early Monday monring in San Patricio County.
Department of Public Safety spokesman Sgt. Nathan Brandley said his office in investigating the accident, in which Justin L. Gibson, an Alabama resident, was driving about half a mile outside of Ingleside and veered off State Hwy. 361.
He hit a wood fence, a utility pole and a palm tree.
A Justice of the Peace pronouced Gibson dead at the scene.
Gibson has been driving a 2019 Jeep Wrangler, and was the only person in the vehicle.
Brandley said he had been drinking alcohol before the crash, but that it is still under investigation.
