CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Kids learning at home really need to have the right connection.
To help them out, some local residents are hosting a device donation drive this weekend.
They'll be collecting computers, laptops and any sort of tech gear students may need.
“Just this morning we got more donations in,” said Roy Rena of PC Performance Service and Repair. “We got a laptop from a young gal who went to college here locally. She graduated and is employed and she's happy to pass it along to someone else. That's what we're looking for.”
The device donation drive will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Sears’ parking lot on Airline.
