Crime of the Week: Christopher Sanders homicide

Detectives are seeking your help to identify the person who killed a man back in 2016.

On January 7, 2016 shortly after 6:29 a.m. police responded to the 1300 block of Comanche Street for an unconscious and unresponsive man lying on the sidewalk.

He was near a gate on the property of the Sacred Heart Church.

Police say Christopher Sanders, 50, had been robbed, beaten and dumped outside the church.

Police say he had facial injuries.

This is the fourth anniversary of the homicide and the family still does not have closure.
