CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The pandemic has kept many at home and away from activities once enjoyed. The arts took a major hit with concerts and venues closed to the crowds, The Corpus Christi Symphony Orchestra was one of those affected.

The CCSO will following strict protocols and guidelines as it prepares to celebrate its 75Th Anniversary season kick off. The 2021 season will begin with two shows on Saturday. The concert titled "The three B's, Bach Beethoven and Brahms", will showcase "Bradenburg Concerto #3" by Bach, two movements from Braham's "Seranade #1" and Bethoven's "Violin Concerto"".

Music Director Hector Guzman with the Corpus Christi Symphony Orchestra says, "Last year, 2020 was the Beethoven 250Th Anniversary Celebration and nobody got to play Beethoven. We're very excited but of course we are not ;letting our guard down. We want to go back but following every guideline."

A limited number of seats are available. To accommodate guests, two shows are scheduled for Saturday February 6, at 2PM and 7:30pm. The evening show is sold out but tickets for the afternoon show are still available. Visit ccsymphony.org for more.
