There are field crews deployed in the Southeast and Northwest sides of the city, and the city is partnering with the Coast Guard to have a helicopter and jet fly at low levels across the man water zones to search for the broken water main. The city says remote areas unable to be searched by vehicle or foot will be assessed with air service.
The U.S. Coast Guard has partnered with our Water Utilities to have a helicopter & jet fly across Padre Island this morning. This will provide an attempt to locate the broken water main which is causing loss of water pressure. Thanks @USCG!
