CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Back in November 2018, CCISD voters approved a $210 million bond package that included funding for a new Carroll High School on the Southside.
If you've driven by the site for the new school on Saratoga and Kostoryz, there's a lot of prep work going on.
And you can expect the pace of construction to really pick up even more over the next few months.
Crews will be installing utility lines in the next several weeks that will soon be installed. And in the next few weeks, they’ll also be drilling piers to support the foundation of the building.
A district spokesperson says the work is on schedule and the campus should be ready to open in August 2022.
