CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Coastal Bend Food Bank announced they will be hosting a drive-thru food distribution from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. today

The food distribution will take place at the Greyhound Racetrack at 5302 Leopard St. Organizers are asking those who attend to wear a mask, stay in your car, put down your phone while waiting in line and have your trunk empty. They also ask for attendees not to arrive before 8:00 a.m.
And starting this week, local church Casa De Dios, will be distributing food on Tuesdays and Thursday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The event will take place at 2341 Pearse Drive.
No appointments are needed, but folks are asked to wear a mask while in line and to keep their car trunks empty.
