CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A Coast Guard boat out of Station Port Aransas ran aground on the south jetty Tuesday night..
The boat and her crew were on their way to help out another vessel that had run out of gas around 8 p.m. Tuesday and the Coast Guard boat ran into the south jetty.
Four of the crew were taken to an area hospital to be checked out.
The Coast Guard tells us they've had some issues pulling that boat off the jetties.
They finally removed it Wednesday afternoon.
