CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS — Corpus Christi police are looking for a man who fired multiple gunshots into the air.
The shooting happened Sunday afternoon at an apartment complex in the 5700 blocks of Wooldridge Road.
According to police at the scene, the man got into an argument with an ex-girlfriend. When the suspect walked outside of the apartment, police said the suspect fired gunshots into the air.
The bullets came back down and struck buildings that were in the area.
Lieutenant Braden Tackett, with the Corpus Christi police department, said, "shooting a gun in a residential area where people live, just like this incident here, people that had nothing to do with the disturbance were victimized by rounds hitting their apartment, so it is very dangerous to shoot off rounds in a residential area."
The suspect has not been arrested.
When he is arrested, police said he faces charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and deadly conduct.
