CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Corpus Christi police say they are looking for a person of interest following a murder the day after Christmas.
According to police, they discovered an unresponsive man in his vehicle on Dec. 26, 2020 in the 4800 block of Leopard Street.
When officers arrived, they found a deceased 40-year-old male slumped over the driver’s seat inside a vehicle. Detectives determined the man's death was a homicide.
After an investigation, police determined 34-year-old Stephanie Ysassi was the suspect and she was arrested on a warrant two days later in the 2200 block of Leopard Street following a disturbance.
One day following Yassi's arrest, CCPD detectives announced they were looking for a vehicle/person of interest in connection to homicide investigation.
Police released this surveillance video Monday night of the person of interest.
Police said the man in the video is being called a person interest and investigators need to make contact with him and also need to identify the owner/operator of the vehicle.
