CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Corpus Christi police are looking for two men who may have tried to pick up two young girls walking home from school in Flour Bluff.
The 7-year-old and 10-year-old girls told police they were walking along an apartment complex on the 700 block of Glenoak Drive near Waldron Road when two Hispanic men in a white minivan approached them.
The girls said the men said their mother asked them to pick them up.
The girls then ran off and the van followed.
The girls made it home safely. They describe the men as being bald and in their 50s. They were in a white van with black scruffs.
Officers are in the Flour Bluff area looking for surveillance cameras that have captured the incident.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact police.
