Corpus Christi Police Department officials said Wednesday that the man who had been run over died at Corpus Christi Medical Center - Bay Area on Tuesday.
KRIS 6 News has obtained the police report of the incident to get further details.
According to the police report from the CCPD, neighbors showed officials video they recorded of a man clinging to the hood of a black Ford Ecosport Sport Utility Vehicle driving at a high speed along the 3600 block of Giants Drive.
In the video, the man screamed "stop," multiple times while the vehicle was moving, according to the report.
The video also showed that the vehicle was driving down the street in the same direction the victim was found. A separate video also showed the wheels lifted up on one side as it drove "over an object."
Following an investigation, officials later contacted 54-year-old Norfilia Aguirre at a residence. According to the report, officials also found a car that matched the description of the car in the video inside a garage at the location.
The report states Aguirre said she was driving the Ford Ecosport with the victim on the hood but "did not see how (he) got off her vehicle." She said she drove around the block and went back home.
Aguirre was then transported to the City Detention Center after she was arrested and charged with murder.

Officials said Wednesday that the 53-year-old man involved in a crash on the 3600 block of Giants Drive on Tuesday has died due to his injuries.
CCPD Lt. Michael Pena said following an investigation; officials determined 54-year-old Norfilia Aguirre allegedly ran the victim over with her car while arguing with him. Pena added the two involved in the incident were in a relationship.
Aguirre has been arrested and charged with murder, officials said.

The Corpus Christi Police Department is investigating a crash that involved a pedestrian.
Officers responded to the incident at about 6:24 p.m. on Tuesday on the 3600 block of Giants Drive.
According to CCPD Lt. Michael Pena, it was not a random act of violence.
A man was struck by a vehicle in what Pena called a "domestic violence" situation, where both parties were known to each other.
The victim was rushed to the hospital and is said to have serious bodily injuries.
This is an ongoing investigation, and no further information is available at the time.
