CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Nueces County Judge Barbara Canales has announced she'll be seeking a second term in 2022.
Canales became the first woman elected as Nueces County Judge in 2018, defeating Republican challenger Mike Pusley for the seat of incumbent Loyd Neal.
Canales says her office has managed county business while modernizing infrastructure and lowered the county tax rate since she began her term.
